OUR STORY

Our story dates back to 1987 when Giuliano, a skilled mechanical production manager, set out to turn his ideas into reality. With two decades of experience and a flair for inventiveness, Giuliano came up with a simpler and more user-friendly product that marked the start of his dream journey.

From humble beginnings in a corner of a small farm in suburban Milan, where he borrowed his first lathe machine, Giuliano created the very first ATEM air shaft. As our team grew and our products gained popularity in international markets, we earned accolades from industry leaders.

In 2005, due to increasing demand, we upgraded to a new state-of-the-art plant in Galgagnano, and in 2011, we installed a cutting-edge solar power system that allowed us to operate fully on sustainable energy. As of 2023, we have expanded our reach by collaborating with partners who supply our air shafts and chucks in 23 different countries. Our solutions can now be found in every corner of the globe, as we continue to grow and serve a diverse range of customers.

At ATEM, we have long been committed to minimizing our ecological footprint and maximizing our positive impact on the environment. This commitment is reflected in our investments to achieve these goals. In 2011, we installed a powerful solar energy system that currently powers all our operations with clean energy. In fact, we produce surplus clean energy that we input into the national electric system. We are constantly researching ways to improve our environmental impact, from reducing waste at every level of our organization to setting aside investments for electric vehicles that we use for local pickups and deliveries. We believe that these efforts are essential in creating a sustainable future for our planet.
